Will I ever be caught up here? I doubt it! But I’ll keep trying 
I first met this little sweetie’s mom and cute older brother at my Christmas mini sessions last year. His mom booked his newborn session before the first of the year, even though he wasn’t due for another six months — I LOVE moms like that!

We lived just around the corner from the Dukes in our house in Las Vegas. They were great neighbors and friends. We hadn’t seen them since they moved away over three years ago, before their youngest daughter was even born. It was fun to get together for their family pictures and catch up with each other.
I think Ann is one of my very favorite people! She’s so giving and does so much for our little community. I just enjoy being around her, so it was fun to spend some time with her family. One of their company trucks had just received a new paint job. It was a little different backdrop than what I usually use, but I really like how the photos turned out.
Why is it so easy to get behind with blogging? I think I’ll go with the excuse that we’re finishing our basement (including my studio, yeah!) Okay, so we’re not actually doing it ourselves — we have subcontractors doing most of it, I mostly just clean up after them. But it still seems to keep me pretty busy. I am doing the painting myself (yikes!) and I just need to run to town today to get some supplies before I start. But our phone line has been down for about a week now, we’re worried that they might have hit the line when they put up the drywall. We finally called the phone company and they’re supposed to be here today sometime between 8 and …….who knows when. So, I guess I’ll see how close I can get to catching up here in blog land while I wait.
First up is my beautiful friend Cindi and her cute little family. My parents are good friends with Cindi’s parents and we grew up together. It makes me feel old to see her with her own little ones, who are older than I remember Cindi being. Her boys were really great sports out in the snow. Their noses got a little pink, but I didn’t hear them complain even once.
What better way to celebrate a first birthday than with a cake smash photo session? Browdi is such a little cutie and it’s obvious how much his mom and dad love him. I’m sure his first birthday party was lots of fun and I hope he enjoys being ONE.

My cousin Lisa has such a cute little family! I’m lucky to get to photograph them regularly. She brought her little ones to my Christmas Mini Sessions and we found out the trick with her little guy was for her to step out of sight. He, like lots of other toddlers I’ve worked with, becomes much more cooperative when Mom isn’t around. It worked like a charm again this time around.

Tim’s little brother Ammon blessed his beautiful baby girl the Sunday after Thanksgiving.
We spent Thanksgiving with my husband’s family this year in Salt Lake and while we were there I got to do sessions with two of his siblings. The first was his beautiful little sister Lora and her adorable little family at Murray Park.
